The West Milford High School held its annual “Career Day” event on Nov. 7.
Students were given the opportunity in advance to choose three careers of interest from a list of presentations to attend on Career Day. They learn firsthand about those careers from the guest presenters, which encompassed 40 different fields.
Students learn general information about their potential careers via the specific presentations and they have the opportunity to ask questions about their fields of interest.
According to WMHS Guidance Counselor Melissa Csengeto, the WMHS Guidance Department and the West Milford Rotary team up each year to offer Career Day for the students.
“This was our 55th Career Day in partnership with the Rotary," said Csengeto. "We were lucky to have many members of the Rotary in attendance as presenters, as well as many presenters who are parents from the district or who are family and friends of high school staff members. All presenters graciously donated their time.”
