Robert J. Hughes was driving a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer on Macopin Road, just south of Echo Lake Road, when he collided with a 1980 International Harvester, driven by Daniel D. Durant, 62, of West Milford. Durant and his passenger, Justino Munoz-Gonzalez, 26, of Butler, were both transported to Chilton Hospital by West Milford First Aid Squad and released with no substantial injuries, according to police. "We are hoping that the possible witnesses come forward and help out the department and the families involved with any information that might assist with this investigation, said Congleton in the release.
