Madelyn H. Sparling, nee Baker, age 70, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 at St. Claire's Hospital in Dover. She was 70.

Mrs. Sparling lived in Oak Ridge for 40 years and was previously from Pequannock.

She is survived by her husband Roland, a daughter Cynthia Barry of Kinnelon, sisters Carole Seabert of Dover, Kay Ashley of East Durham, N.Y., and Helen Kuchman of Florida, and 13 grandchildren.

Her parents, a son Craig Sweetman (2008) and a brother Richard Baker predeceased her.

Visiting was held at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford, on Monday, Feb. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 16, at the Milton United Methodist Church, 316 Dover Milton Road, Milton. Time to be announced.

The family is requesting donations to the Milton United Methodist Church Food Pantry at 316 Dover Milton Road, Milton, NJ 07438.

Final disposition was private.
