Rich Dygos’ Introduction to Business class in Macopin Middle School joined the stock market game to compete against their peers in class as well as other students across our state for the ultimate prize...gaining the most amount of money from trading stocks, ETFs and mutual funds. In this virtual stock trading game, students can interact with the market in a way that is very similar to today’s stockbrokers. By learning how to trade in the stock market, students develop a firm understanding of basic economic principles, as well as mathematical processes. Dygos set up specific contest parameters, giving students the ability to have a contest within a specific time frame in which the program track the gains and losses incurred by each student.
