HEWITT — West Milford Hockey will be holding a paper shredding fundraiser in the parking lot of Sears Hardware, on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., rain or shine. The cost is $10 for the first box or bag and $5 for each additional. All donations will benefit West Milford Hockey.

Shred the papers and documents that you no longer need, but know you shouldn't throw away to protect yourself from identity theft.

Examples of documents you might consider shredding are: loan documents, cancelled checks, tax records, utility bills, personal identification, legal records, financial records, credit card documents, credit information, bank statements, insurance documents, pay stubs, medical records.

Businesses are welcome.
Items that cannot be shredded include: plastics, carbon paper, photographs, binders, shipping envelopes and non-paper items.

Shredding will be performed by Nexcut Shredding. Participants can view the actual shredding process real time on a side mounted LCD screen. Once shredded, your paper commingles with thousands of pounds from other sources which renders the information completely indecipherable. www.Nexcut.com

Sears is located at 1926 Union Valley Road, Hewitt.
