One voice

West Milford stood as "One Voice" - this year's theme for the 63rd annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 1. Five churches joined in two prayer events, one at noon in front of the township hall and one in the evening at Pinecliff Lake clubhouse. Residents prayed and sang praise, lifting up America and praying for the town, their families, schools and the country. The town received two proclamations for the National Day of Prayer, one from the Mayor Bettina Bieri and one from Gov. Chris Christie. Here, Fr. Michael Rodak of Our Lady Queen of Peace prayed with the group; the musical ministry team from The Journey Church, Jay and Kay Roe, led the music.
