Give blood this Sunday

The Monthly Blood Drive is back this Sunday! There was no blood drive in April because it fell on Easter, but Sunday, May 18, it's back.

The need for blood is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

So take some time this Sunday to give the gift of life. Come by the First Aid Squad Building, 605 Ridge Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. No appointments are required for whole blood donations. Early birds and first-time donors are encouraged to attend. Bring friends and family to donate too.

All potential donors should eat a good meal before donating and bring identification.

There is an urgent need for O negative blood.

See you at the blood drive.
