Get ready for some speed! The Greenwood Lake Power Boat Association is hosting the Greenwood Lake Power Boat Races this weekend, June 7 and 8, at Browns Point Park. Gates open at 10 a.m. and racing begins at 11 both days. Cost is $10 general admission, with kids 4 to 12 paying $5. Under 4 are free. Get a pit pass for $5 and see the boats up close. There will be vendors selling t-shirts, souvenirs and lots of yummy food. Also, there will be a beer garden. The event is sponsored by the Greenwood Lake Power Boat Association and benefits the Greenwood Forest Fire Department in town. For more inforamtion, go to facebook/Greenwood Lake Power Boat Racing
