Scarlett is dreaming about another day

"Tomorrow I'll think of some way... after all, tomorrow is another day." Those words were from Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind.

That's what Scarlett, a cat at the West Milford Animal Shelter, is dreaming about. She is dreaming of a way to make someone who is interested in adopting a cat pick her.

This Scarlett has been trying since September of 2013 to convince visitors to the shelter to make her their special chosen one. She likes to greet everyone who comes in, walks on the office counter top batting her eyes and swishing her tail, and when she has a chance, jumping onto people's shoulders! Scarlett loves to drape herself on shoulders and will stay there for as long as she is allowed.

Scarlett the cat is not fickle like Scarlett O'Hara. She wants a true love and a committed relationship but, like the other Scarlett, she does like to flirt and look pretty.

Scarlett is spayed, up-to-date with all inoculations and medical needs. Come meet this drama queen at the shelter, located on Lycosky Drive (behind recycling) Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday evenings 7:30 to 9 p.m.

For information, call 973-728-2859 or visit www.westmilfordanimalshelter.org or the shelter's two facebook pages, The West Milford Animal Shelter and The Real Cats At WMASS.
