What a fantastic weekend for the boat races at Browns Point! The weather cooperated as families flocked to the shoreline to watch some pretty powerful boats race on Greenwood Lake.

This community event benefited the Greenwood Forest Fire Department, whose members volunteered throughout the two-day event.

Good food was plentiful, as were souvenirs of the event.

The Greenwood Lake Power Boat Association ran the boat races from 1984 to 1999 and picked it up again this year.
