WEST MILFORD — Cat licenses expired on June 30 so it is time to renew.

All cat owners are required to re-license their cat(s) during the month of July. Rabies vaccinations must be good until April 24, 2015 to obtain a 2014/2015 license, according to the West Milford Health Department. The deadline for renewals is July 31.

Applications for renewal are being mailed to each cat owner. The fees are $20 for a standard license (un-neutered) and $10 for neutered cats. A copy of the proof of neutering is required when applications are mailed or brought to the office.

Mail applications back during the month of July or stop by the Health Department between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Checks are preferable for payment; make them out to the Township of West Milford. The Health Department is located in township hall, 1480 Union Valley Road.

To avoid the late fee of $8, all renewals must by postmarked by July 31, 2014.

For more information, call 728-2849.
