Learn to preserve all that great summer produce in a healthy and economical way. Sustainable West Milford's canning workshops will teach participants the basics of how to use water bath canners to preserve jam and/or vegetables. Fresh produce will be provided, and attendees are asked to bring six pint-sized canning jars with new seals and lids for each session. Sessions are:

Workshop 1: July 17: Blueberry Jam

Workshop 2: July 24: Corn Relish

Workshop 3: Aug. 7: Pickled Beets

Workshops will be held Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the kitchen of the West Milford Presbyterian Church. The cost is $20 per person. Email Megan Fink at finkmeg@gmail.com or call her at 201-835-6635 to register.
