Field hockey camp starts July 21

West Milford Community Services and Recreation is hosting its annual Junior Field Hockey Camp, Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25.

This camp is for girls entering grades four through nine and will be held at the McCormack Field, behind Macopin Middle School. The camp will be held in Macopin in case of bad weather. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. The cost is $141 per camper; $10 additional for non-residents.

Krista Provost, West Milford High School field hockey coach, is running the camp.

Each camper must bring the following:

Field hockey ball and stick
Approved goggle eyewear

Water bottle

Light lunch


Pre-registration is required. Make checks payable to West Milford Community Services and Recreation or go online to Click on payments, then online registration. Online payments are with credit cards only. Participants may register online and pay by cash or check at the Recreation office at Hillcrest Community Center, 1810 Macopin Road.
