Frieda brings peace and joy - and some great yoga moves
WEST MILFORD — The name Frieda is of German origin and it means peace and joy. There is a cat named Frieda at the West Milford Animal Shelter that is seeking to bring some peace and joy into a new home and family of her own. Her name fits her to a "T."
Frieda was brought into the shelter as a stray. She was very fortunate that she found someone who cared for her until she was brought to the shelter. Her caregiver was unable to keep her.
Frieda is very friendly and, at six years of age, she wants everyone to know she is still very limber by practicing her yoga moves. It's all very impressive. But most of the visitors and adopters who have come to the shelter have been more interested in meeting the kittens. They should take a look at Frieda!
Frieda has been tested for FIV/Feline Leukemia (negative), is spayed and up-to-date with all inoculations and medical needs.
If you would like to bring some peace and joy wrapped-up in soft black and white fur with a cute pink nose, into your life, visit the shelter to meet Frieda. She can also be a great yoga buddy.
The shelter is located at Lycosky Drive (behind recycling.) For information, call 973-728-2859 or visit www.westmilfordanimalshelter.org or the shelter's two facebook pages, The Real Cats At WMASS and The West Milford Animal Shelter.
