The West Milford High School Theatre Arts program has offered graduating seniors scholarships for the second year. In their four years on the West Milford stage, they have survived a man-eating plant from outer space, sung their way through a Disney fairy tale, followed a cynically, sarcastic man in a chair through his favorite musical, and soared through the air in a magical, swash-buckling adventure. The four scholarship recipients, Matthew Kelly, Sophia Metcalf, Brandan Sushko and Jayce Winant, were not only awarded this scholarship for the performances they gave on stage but for the leadership, dedication and teamwork they have displayed throughout their years at West Milford High School. "We are proud of their accomplishments and can't wait to see what the future holds for them," said Paul Gorski, former principal of the high school, and Heather Burns, theater arts teacher, pictured here.
