WEST MILFORD — Echo Lake Baptist Church will be hosting a one day women’s retreat on Saturday, Sept. 20. "Tears and Trials to perfect Peace" is the theme. Bring a friend and take time out of your busy schedule.

Jennifer Sands, Christian author and speaker, will be the keynote speaker for the retreat. Sands is a 9/11 widow who will share her journey towards peace through Jesus Christ after the loss of her husband.

The day continues with tears of laughter provided by Monique Latise, a McDonald's Gospel Fest Comedy finalist.

There are many more surprises in store so gather up friends, sisters, moms and co-workers to join you for a day built just for you.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a luncheon served by the Echo Lake men. The cost is $22. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and will start promptly at 10.

Enjoy some refreshments between 3 and 4 p.m. while perusing the book table. Sands will be on hand to answer any questions and autograph your purchase. Cash and checks only for book purchases.
