Pasta for vets at the Elks

On Sunday, Jan. 22, the West Milford Elks hosted a pasta dinner for 50 veterans from the New York State Veterans Home in Montrose, N.Y. There were four pasta stations where the guests could get different types of sauces and enjoy meatballs, sausage, garlic bread, salad and dessert. The veterans and Elks volunteers enjoyed the live music from Northeast of Nashville, which volunteered their time and talents. The vets played a game called "Name That Band" and won some prizes for the correct answers. Pictured here are Elks volunteers Linda and Jeff Dolan making pasta orders or the veterans.
