WEST MILFORD — Linda Kenyon presents "The Greatest Ever: Babe Didrikson Zaharias' Story" for The Friends of West Milford Township Library's second event in their Monday Nights Under the Tent summer concert series.
Join the Friends on July 17 at 7 p.m. to learn about America's greatest female athlete. Zaharias combined raw talent, hard work, and an unquenchable thirst for winning. Today, it is not "big deal" to have women competing in sports, but not many years ago, this was a revolutionary idea — and Babe Didrikson led the revolution.
Bring a chair and a friend to this free event which will take place under the tent at 1490 Union Valley Road. No registration is required. In the event of rainy weather, the concert will relocate to town hall.
