— ArtsPower’s sensory-friendly musical "The Monster Who Ate My Peas" will be performed at William Paterson University in Wayne on Wednesday, March 22, at 10:30 a.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus.

Admission is $8 general admission. This performance is only open to classes and families with children with autism. Call 973-720-3178 for ticket reservations or email gassyoumansl@wpunj.edu for more information.

Based on the multi-award-winning book written by Danny Schnitzlen and illustrated by Matthew Faulkner, "The Monster Who Ate My Peas" tells the funny and poignant story of a young boy who does not want to eat his peas. He makes a deal with a funny monster and trades things for the monster to eat his peas for him. How much is he willing to trade? Maybe it's better to just eat the peas.

The Shea Center for Performing Arts is located on the William Paterson University Campus. 300 Pompton Road in Wayne.
