  • Wake him up! The township is hosting a free rabies clinic for cats on Saturday morning, April 29.

WEST MILFORD — West Milford Township will hold its annual free rabies prevention clinic for cats only on Saturday, April 29, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the town hall, main meeting room, 1480 Union Valley Road.

The State of New Jersey now recommends that both cats and dogs be re-vaccinated every two years. This will ensure that there is no lapse in a pet’s protection against this deadly disease.

All cats must be in a carry case.

There will be no make-up date. Cat owners are asked to review their records to make sure the rabies protection is valid until April 24, 2018. If the protection expires before April 25, 2018, you must attend this free clinic or visit your veterinarian to obtain the vaccination or a 2017/2018 license cannot be issued for your pet.
