The Northwest Region of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is hosting a Networking Luncheon on May 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at South + Pine, 90 South Street, in Morristown. Women business owners are encouraged to attend.

The topic for this event is “Room-by-Room Spring Cleaning Tips to Help Get Your Financial House in Order,” presented by Jennifer Polidori, a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch, Paramus. A Q&A period will follow the presentation.

Polidori, who considers herself a “partner in all things financial,” believes spring cleaning — an annual ritual for so many — is also the perfect time to clean up a year’s worth of financial clutter. In her presentation, she will discuss the obstacles, hurdles, and challenges women face when planning for retirement and will explain what and how today’s life-defining financial decisions will affect saving for tomorrow. Polidori holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and the Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor (ASPA) designations.

Attendees will enjoy networking over lunch in this casual setting. There will be plenty of time for 30-second intros, exchange of business cards, and getting to know business owners from the area. Advance registration is recommended. For those who register online, the event fee is $30 for NJAWBO members and $40 for nonmembers. Walk-ins are welcome, but the fee is $45 for all at the door. To register, go to Online registration closes on May 21.
