WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Health Department, in conjunction with Chilton Medical Center, will be having a Lyme disease and Tick borne diseases panel on Thursday, June 8.Not only can a bite from a tick transmit Lyme disease but ticks carry other diseases as well. Learn how to protect yourself from ticks, be able to recognize the symptoms of a tick borne disease, and more.

The expert panel will share their knowledge regarding prevention, diagnosis, symptoms, and treatment of Lyme disease and tick borne diseases. There will also be a question and answer session at the end of the panel.

Join the health department on June 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the West Milford Council Chambers in the town hall meeting room, 1480 Union Valley Road, West Milford.
