It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Susan F. Swarts, 67, of West Milford.

Susan is the beloved wife and best friend of Daniel Swarts. Daniel and Susan have been married for 47 years.

Susan and Daniel are the parents of Stacy Swarts-Carver, Dana Swarts, David Carver, and David Donus. One of the most joyous and proudest parts of her life were her grandchildren: Hannah, Jacob, and Cooper Carver, and Morgan, Evan, and Delaney Brown, and step-grandchildren Mitchell and Morgan Donus. Above all else, Susan’s family was the joy of her life.

Susan was an active part of the West Milford Community. She has dedicated herself to the health and wellness of the senior community. Susan was the athletic instructor for the Senior Citizen’s program at Hillcrest Community Center and The Bloomingdale Senior Center. She was the resident manager and social activities director at Lincoln Hill Village in West Milford. Her indelible mark on the senior community will never be forgotten.

Susan’s caring, selflessness, and amazing spirit will be greatly missed.

The family received visitors on Sunday, July 9, at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, Newfoundland.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. Joseph Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford.
