Renew cat licenses this month

The West Milford Health Department reminds cat owners that cat licenses expired on June 30. Rabies vaccinations must be good until April 24, 2018 to obtain a 2017/2018 license.

Applications for a renewal are being mailed to each cat owner. You are required to re-license your cat during the month of July. The fees are $20 for a standard license (un-neutered) and $10 for neutered cats. You must provide a copy of the proof of neutering when you send in your application or if you bring it to the office.

When you receive the application, mail it back during the month of July or stop by the Health Department between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Checks are preferable, made out to the Township of West Milford.

To avoid the late fee of $8, all renewals must by postmarked by July 31, 2017, the deadline for renewal.

For more information, call 973-728-2849.
