Frank D. Vatrano, husband of Jacqueline (Dean), died on Sunday, Oct. 15. He was 83.

Born in Paterson, Vatrano had resided in Wanaque since 1945 after moving there from Wyckoff. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and had been employed as a purchasing manager for Mosstype Printing in Waldwick and later worked for the Salvation Army in Bloomingdale for 19 years.

Along with his wife, he is survived by one son, Thomas Vatrano of Wanaque, two daughters, Linda Hall (husband, James) of Hightstown and Sue Vatrano of West Milford, one brother, Dominic (wife, Betty) of Clifton, one sister, Margaret Schiavo (husband, Joe) of Paterson, three grandchildren, Evan, James and Michael and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday at .at Richards Funeral Home, Inc., 4 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Entombment, Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Visitation is Thursday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations to Salvation Army, 268 Macopin Rd, Bloomingdale would be appreciated.
