Clay artist Maria Glaser-Roeser will be hosting her annual Holiday Pottery and Gift Sale where shoppers can find unique and affordable handmade gifts at the sale.

This year the dates are: Nov. 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 19 and 26 from 1-8 p.m.

Glaser-Roeser, owner of Stonehill Pottery Shop, has been making both functional and decorative items for more than three decades.

Her Newfoundland shop is filled with wares that are adorned with whimsical animal and nature motifs.

Because she loves a challenger, she also makes custom and special order pieces. These can take up to four weeks to make.

Glaser-Roeser has invited other crafters to participate in her special extended hours show.

Among the gift items to be had are: organic soaps, body scrubs, Christmas silk decorations, dried herb sachets, home baked goodies and candy.

Shoppers can sip hot cider and nibble on cookies while they browse.

She will have a shelf with pieces that are discounted because they have slight flaws.

Stonehill Pottery, located at 145 Union Valley Road is open Wednesdays through Fridays and most Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., until Christmas, or by appointment.
