Junior Highlanders beat Vernon Vikings 20-13

The rumble team faced the Vernon Vikings for the second time this season beating them again by a score of 20-13. Mason LaNeve had two touchdowns and added two extra points.

Jayden Mericka also had a touchdown.

Coach Marc Czerepak said the offensive front line did a fantastic job blocking. The line was lead by Jacob Curving who sealed the edges all game.

Luke Maslanek played a great defensive game leading the team in tackles along with Blake Czerepak and Daniel Moretti. The rumble team improved to 6-3 on the season and will face Wayne for their final game on Saturday at Hillcrest field.

The Pony team beat the Vernon Vikings by a score of 14-13. Coach Mike Czerepak said the offensive line did a great job blocking all day.

Nick Manthey, Stephen Dellagicoma and Matthew Sledge paved the way and held off the defenders for the Jr. Highlanders Jeffrey Papinuck to score 2 touchdowns. Griffin Buntzen and Cole Czerepak added extra points.

The defensive line anchored by Dane Wells, Kyle Schwarzlow and Ayden Adams kept the Vikings out of the end zone all night.

The Super team beat High Point by a score of 19-7. Jake Schwarzlow scored two touchdowns and Danny Platt added a third score as the Super Highlanders improved to 7-2 on the Season.

The Pee Wee team beat High Point for their first win of the season by a score of 13-0.
