Seminar set on risks, rewards of buying foreclosed homes

Buyers, new investors and flippers are being invited to attend a free real estate seminar on the "ins and outs" of buying foreclosed properties.

The seminar is being conducted by The Real Deal Team of Realty Executives® -- Sparta on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta.

Attendees will hear from Northern New Jersey's leading experts in real estate and will learn about the risks and rewards of buying foreclosed homes.

Topics covered will include:Understanding the different types of foreclosure properties

Financing options available for buying foreclosed properties.

Legal risks when purchasing foreclosed homes.

What to expect when buying a foreclosed property How much below asking price can I go and be considered a serious buyer?

Title Insurance and its importance when buying foreclosures. Inspections — most concerning issues

A Q&A will be held afterwards.

Appetizers and refreshments during a meet-and-greet cocktail hour will be provided and attendees will have the chance to win door prizes in our Real Deal Raffle.
