Phillip L. Bishop of West Milford died on Friday, April 14, 2017. He was 79.
He was the beloved husband of Gail H. (Pulis) Bishop. Born in Peoria, Illinois, he was the son of the late Joseph and Willa (Colby) Bishop.
Mr. Bishop was a resident of West Milford for the past 54 years. He was an Army veteran and was employed by Flextronics Industries of Parsippany in quality control. He was a member of the West Milford Presbyterian Church and its 2x2 Couples Club, local CB clubs, the West Milford Beautification Committee, Sheep Hill Observatory of Boonton and Schroon Lake Association of New York.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Robert and his wife, Christine, of Massachusetts, and Phillip and his wife, Jennifer, of West Milford; two daughters, Susan Cappadona and her husband, Michael, of Andover, and Meredith Bishop of Hamilton Square; one brother, Joseph, and his wife, Linda, of Pennsylvania and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, at the West Milford Presbyterian Church, 1452 Union Valley Road, West Milford, at 11 a.m. Disposition will be private.
