  • Photos provided Nala is calm and loving and likes to go for leisurely strolls.

  • Frost is high energy and needs to have a human who can keep up with him.

There are two dogs at the West Milford Animal Shelter who are as different as night and day, but equally adorable and in need of new homes.

Nala, a blond German Shepherd and Labrador mix. Nala is a large, calm and loving dog who was overfed before she arrived at the shelter. She enjoys being walked and likes to go for leisurely strolls and spending time chillling with her people.

Her soulmate is someone who is into healthy eating and who also needs to go for daily walks. When not walking or enjoying a quick romp in the yard, she needs someone who wants to relax at home with a friend.

Frost, a black Labrador and terrier mix. Frost is a medium large, high energy and loving dog. He is also very young at only a little over a year old.

He also enjoys going for a walk but at a very brisk pace and needs someone who can keep up with him. His soulmate is someone who likes to eat, play, and can't wait to get going. He likes people and enjoys being with them.

Both pups are spayed or neutered and up-to-date with all inoculations and medical needs.

Come meet Nala and Frost at the shelter on Lycosky Drive, behind the recycling center, or call the shelt at 973-728-2859, or visit Facebook/The West Milford Animal Shelter.
