Passaic County is seeking full-time Human Resources Clerk for HR Office, must have general HR knowledge which would include, Leave of Absence, FMLA, ADA, ACA, T&A, WC, must be familiar with benefits and pension and general knowledge of State and Federal regulations.

Must be proficient in word, excel, and outlook and have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, must be a team player. Must have experience with ADP HR system EV5 and report writer.

Working experience with NJ Civil Service Commission is preferred.

Executive Administrative AssistantThe Passaic County Administrator’s Office is responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of the Passaic County government, including fiscal, budgetary, and personnel matters.

The Passaic County Administrator is a high paced office seeking an Executive Assistant to report directly to the County Administrator.

Duties include:

Provide senior level administrative support;

Coordinate a full calendar and balancing competing interests and ensuring optimal use of the County Administrator’s time;

Direct and oversee an Administrative Assistant to ensure timely completion of tasks and administrative functions in the office;

Possess high-level computer skills, including superior typing ability;

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word;

Attention to detail in editing and proofreading correspondence;

Processing bills and ordering supplies;

Writing skills required to draft correspondence, memoranda, and other documents as required;

Ability to keep accurate meeting minutes; and

Superior organization skills, including maintaining and organizing a large number of files relevant to the work of the office.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and possess 3 to 5 years’ experience working as an Administrative Assistant, with the ability to demonstrate the skills necessary to competently perform the duties of the position. Excellent writing and verbal communications skills are required. Applicants should be courteous and friendly, and be able to be trained on a number of software platforms used by the office, including but not limited to Edmunds and GovQA.
