February is an odd month. Not only is it the shortest month of the year it is usually the snowiest. And by February, most people are starting to look forward to spring.

To help beat those winter blues, the West Milford Animal Shelter is having a celebration of February, the month of love.

And what better way to do it then with a Pawapalooza! A celebrtion of those with four paws who are looking for love. They need a valentine. Someone who will love them and who they can love. Someone who will say "be mine."

There are five white rabbits at the shelter who need a valentine who is looking for "some - bunny" to love!

And there are others, like Two-Bit the only kitten at the shelter and his mom Bella.

Or a young dog named Frost and a one-eyed cat named Timmii.

Every adopted pet will go home with a sweetheart gift bag containing food, toys and treats.

There is also a "valentine box" for anyone who would like to send those who are waiting a valentine or gift.

Come fine your special valentine at the shelter located on Lycosky Drive or call 973-728-2859, facebook/The West Milford Animal Shelter or facebook/The Real Cats at WMASS.

A cat named Tom Hanks who was featured in the Messenger has found his valentines!
