People came to relax, have fun, grabe some snacks and wish the owners well in their new and healthful endeavor.

And yes, free massages were done all day.

Friends and clients came in throughout the day, from noon to 4 p.m. to see the new space and try a class.

HEWITT — Melissa Gentile and Lara Kowalewski welcomed the community to their new yoga studio Sunday at their grand opening. Country Flow Yoga is located at 355 Warwick Turnpike in Hewitt, in the building that houses Utopia Deli.

The turnout was excellent, with many taking advantage of the free classes offered throughout the day. There is yoga for everyone: Hatha,, Vinyasa, aerial, yoga fusion that combines yoga and Pilates. Plus there are plans for hot yoga in the near future.

Mayor Bettina Bieri was on hand Sunday to cut the ceremonial ribbon for Gentile and Kowalewski and the large group of people who showed up to wish them well.
