Registration is now open for both the Junior and Pee Wee Dance Team clinics and tryouts.

Junior teamFor the Junior Dance Team for grades 5-8 in the fall of 2017, clinics are April 25 and 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and tryouts are May 2, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Both will be held at the New Library, upstairs room 6 and 7.

This team is for technically trained dances. The purpose is to promote team building and camaraderie as a competitive team.

Those interested must have at least 3-4 years of experience in ballet, jazz and acro (cheerleading or gymnastics is a plus).

Pee Wee teamRegistration is also now open for Pee Wee Dance Team clinics and tryouts for boys and girls in grades 2-6 in the fall of 2018.

Clinics are April 25 and 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tryouts are May 2 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the New Library, upstairs in rooms 6 and 7.

This feeder program to the Junior Dance Team will give participants a jump start to learning proper dance technique with an outlet to perform at local events and competitions. Those interested must have at least 1-2 years of experience in ballet, jazz and acro (cheerleading and gymnastics is a plus).

Or, register in person at the West Milford Recreation Center, 66 Cahill Cross Rd., during regular hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
