Gilchrist, Ruth Minnie (Naylor), 94, of West Milford, formally of Prospect Park, passed away April 26.
Wife of the late John Gilchrist Sr. and daughter of the late Milton and Minnie (Ramsey) Naylor.
She worked for Haband in Prospect Park before retiring and was a member of the West Milford Golden Agers.
Surviving are son, John R. Gilchrist Jr., wife Michele and daughter Ruth Ann Braen, husband Arthur, grandchildren Michael Gilchrist, wife Denise, Dawn Gilchrist and wife Jaime, Robert Braen and partner Julie Bratolli, Aaron Braen and wife Lydia, Donna Ligieri and husband David and great grandchildren AJ Braen and Ethan Gilchrist.
Visitation was Sunday, April 29, at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Funeral service was Monday, interment at Fairlawn Memorial Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses, aides and staff at the Milford Manor Nursing Home for the care and compassion their mother received.
In lieu of flowers donations, may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
