Would you give a pint of blood for a pint of ice cream?

The Community Blood Services hopes you will. The group is holding a blood drive at the Dairy Queen in Newfoundland on Friday, July 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. The Bloodmobile will be in the parking lot.

Those who donate a pint of blood will receive a pint of Dairy Queen's soft serve.

Healthy individuals 16 years old and older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate. Donors should eat a meal before they give.

All donors will receive a free cholesteral screening.

The Community Blood Services serves more than 30 hospitals in New Jersey and New York.

For information, call 201-251-3703.
