    Dean's List

    Jordan Den Herder of West Milford was among students added to The University of Scranton dean's list for the fall 2015 semester. The dean's list recognizes students for academic excellence who have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours.

    Connor Melde of Hewitt and Gerald Principe of Newfoundland have been named to the spring 2016 dean's list at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the dean's list.

    Danielle Burns of West Milford is one of more than 150 Lebanon Valley student-athletes named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll. Burns, a graduate of West Milford Township High School, is a member of the women's swimming team, and is pursuing a bachelor of science in health science at The Valley. The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. In 2015-16, the MAC allowed freshmen to be eligible for the conference academic honor roll for the first time.

    Daniel Olive of Oak Ridge has been named to The College of Our Lady of the Elms dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. To qualify, a full-time student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher, without incompletes. The College of Our Lady of the Elms is located in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

    Kylie Powers of Hewitt has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2016 semester at the College of Saint Rose. Powers is one of 721 students to achieve this mark of academic excellence. To make the dean's list, Powers had to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, incomplete or pass/fail.

    Mackenzie Demay, a 2014 graduate of West Milford High School, was named to the Kean University Dean's List for the spring 2016 semester. In order to be named to the dean's list, students must take a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a 3.45 GPA or better.
    Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck have been named to the honors lists for the spring 2016 semester.

    To qualify for the honor's list, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

    Graduations

    Brennen Leon of West Milford graduated from Marquette Universityin Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a bachelor of arts degree in advertising. Leon was one of about 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students who received their diplomas on May 22, 2016, at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
