West Milford High School Back to School night this Wednesday

    WEST MILFORD - The high school's Back-to-School Night is scheduled for this Wednesday.
    The evening will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. with a meeting in the auditorium, according to the district.
    Parents will then have an opportunity to follow their student’s schedule.
    An abbreviated schedule will be followed, with each period lasting 10 minutes and the evening ending at 9 p.m.
    Parents should obtain a copy of their student’s schedule from the Parent Portal.
    If parents do not have access to a printer, they can go to the main office starting at 6 p.m, to have a schedule printed for them, officials said.
    School and district administrators, supervisors, and school counselors will be available in the cafeteria and child study team members will be in the child study conference room on the second floor.
    Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria throughout the evening, according to the district.
    The schedule for the evening will be as follows:
    6:30-7:00 Opening in Auditorium
    7:05-7:15 Period 1
    7:15-7:20 Passing
    7:20-7:30 Period 2
    7:30-7:35 Passing
    7:35-7:45 Period 3
    7:45-7:50 Passing
    7:50-8:00 Period 4
    8:00-8:05 Passing
    8:05-8:15 Period 5
    8:15-8:20 Passing
    8:20-8:30 Period 6
    8:30-8:35 Passing
    8:35-8:45 Period 7
    8:45-8:50 Passing
    8:50-9:00 Period 8
    Officials said that participating in Back-to-School Night gives parents the opportunity to experience their student’s daily routine and learn about the requirements for each class their child is taking.
    The faculty and administration are looking forward to the opportunity to meet with parents, officials said.
