Andrea C. Sobota of Neptune, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the age of 54 after a lengthy illness.

Andrea was born on in Hackensack, NJ. She graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a degree in psychology. She worked for many years in human resources and later as a paralegal.

Andrea loved to travel and visited many faraway places. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and quick wit, and for always being there for her family and friends in times of need. Andrea opened her home and heart to everyone. She was an amazing friend to so many in many ways, always putting others before herself. She truly enjoyed the good times and would support you through tough times. Her family meant to world to her and many of her friends were like family. Andrea also loved dogs and for a time had a pet-sitting business.

She is survived by her brother, John Sobota of Coconut Creek, FL, and her uncles Gus Albino and Danny Albino and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Angela Sobota (Albino) and her brother Michael.

Viewing will be on Thursday, September 27th, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Rd., West Milford, NJ. A funeral mass will be on Friday, September 28th, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 454 Germantown Rd., West Milford, NJ with interment to follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rottweiler rescue would be appreciated (www.donate.rescueme.org).
