The Sleep Disorder Institute, in Florida, NY, delivers exceptional sleep-diagnostic services and treatments to improve quality of life. It is operated by St. Anthony Community Hospital, a member of the Bon Secours Charity Health System and Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).

The Institute specializes in patient care for all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Board-certified adult and pediatric sleep physicians and a state-of-the-art facility ensure the best possible patient experience, delivering compassionate professional care in a safe, comfortable environment. The team of professionals evaluates a variety of sleep disorders. They include obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, periodic limb movement disorder, parasomnias and narcolepsy.

A sleep study is a non-invasive test performed overnight that evaluates factors such as eye movement, the blood oxygen levels, heart and breathing rates, snoring and body movements during the stages of sleep to seek out any disruptions or irregularities.

The Institute is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Physicians have credentials in sleep medicine, internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care and pediatric pulmonary care. Doctors are complemented by a staff of credentialed, expertly trained technologists. The Pediatric Sleep Program is led by a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist.

The facility offers beautiful, comfortable private rooms that include queen-sized beds, flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi access. Pediatric suites allow parents and caregivers to comfortably accompany infants and children during sleep studies.

Patients must be referred by a physician. For more information about the Bon Secours Sleep Disorder Institute of St. Anthony Community Hospital, call 866-857-6080 or visit StAnthonyCommunityHosp.org/sleep-center
