Richard L. Toupence, 70, of West Milford, passed away on Friday, Dec. 21.

The husband of the late Pamela (Martin) Toupence, Richard was born in Aurora, Illinois.

He was the son of the late Louis and Elma (Richards) Toupence.

A resident of West Milford for 30 years, Richard moved to the community from Palatine, Illinois, and was employed by Phillips-Edax of Mahwah as a production manager.

Richard was active in the Seniors at Passaic County Camp Hope, West Milford.

Surviving are three sons, Richard B. Toupence of Scotch Plains, and Jason L. Toupence of Mankato, Minnesota, and Allan G. Proesel of Chicago, Illinois, two sisters, Gabrielle Toupence of Chicago, Illinois, and Susan Betts of Texas.

Four grandchildren also survive.

Visitation is scheduled at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, in West Milford on Saturday, Dec. 29, from noon-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Passaic County Camp Hope of New Jersey, 1792 Union Valley Road, West Milford, NJ 07480.
