Look no further than St. Anthony Community Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), for all your shoulder surgery-related needs. St. Anthony Community Hospital is one of the only hospitals in the region with a dedicated shoulder replacement program established more than 10 years ago. A combination of the most state-of-the-art orthopedic technology and commitment to delivering compassionate care allows the orthopedic team to optimize the level of care they give to their patients.

A variety of shoulder-related procedures are performed at St. Anthony Community Hospital including:

  • Rotator cuff repair
  • Shoulder instability surgery
  • Shoulder ligament repair/reconstruction surgery
  • Patient-Specific CT-guided 3D model shoulder replacement surgeries

This program is led by Daniel Tomlinson, MD, Director of The Sports Medicine and Shoulder Program at St. Anthony Community Hospital. He is board-certified and completed a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. St. Anthony Community Hospital has a dedicated orthopedic unit that is staffed with highly trained nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation staff to ensure all patients receive care specific to their hospital stay and throughout the recovery process. “The entire staff, from the nurses to administration, at St. Anthony Community Hospital focuses on treating every patient like he or she is family,” said Dr. Tomlinson. “To me, that is one of the most important factors when deciding on where to go for an elective procedure.”
