Philip Thomas Castronovo, 67, of Wantage, previously of Closter, passed away suddenly on Jan. 9.

Philip was predeceased in death by his parents, Antionette and Philip Castronovo, and his brother in law Hank Moser.

He is survived by his sister Grace Moser Demarest and brother in law Barry Demarest of Closter NJ, and nephew Brad Moser, wife, Nancy and three children of Park Ridge NJ; and many cousins and friends.

He was a graduate of Northern Valley Demarest High School in 1969, and Kansas State Teachers College (now Emporia State University) in 1973. He worked as a computer programmer among other jobs during his professional career.

Philip enjoyed flying planes, boating on Greenwood Lake and bowling whenever time allowed.

He was a member of the West Milford Elks Lodge 2236, and the Sons of the American Legion Post 289 of West Milford.

There will be a private memorial service. Any memories can be left at www.becker-funeralhome.com.

Memorial contributions can be made in Philip’s name to the West Milford Elks Lodge 2236, 1860 Union Valley Road, West Milford, NJ 07480.
