West Milford. The West Milford Township Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 20 from 1-3 p.m. at Bubbling Springs Municipal Park & Recreation Area, 1468 Macopin Road.

The Tradition will continue once again this year thanks to sponsorship of the event by West Milford Township Councilmen Pete McGuinness and Lou Signorino. Entry to the Community Easter Egg Hunt is free for West Milford residents.

There will be a Bonnet Contest for attendees of all ages, an Easter Egg Hunt for kids ages 3-12 (NOTE: attendees should bring their own baskets for the Easter Egg Hunt), and an Egg Toss Contest for older kids, ages 13-18.

Prizes will be awarded.

McGuinness commented on a Facebook Post about the event: "This event is a tradition in West Milford. It’s for kids and grownup kids as well with the bonnet contest - all ages welcome for that. There is an egg toss for all HS aged kids. Winner gets $100."

Event times are scheduled as follows:

● 1-1:30 p.m. Egg Hunt for children ages 3-5

● 1:30-2 p.m. Egg Hunt for children ages 6-8

● 2-2:30 p.m. Egg Hunt for children ages 9-12

● 2:30 p.m. Egg Toss Contest for youth ages 13-18

There was no specific time listed for the Bonnet Contest Judging. Bonnet contest participants should plan to attend from 1pm-3pm or until judging is complete and prizes have been awarded.
