| 21 Sep 2017 | 03:25

On Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m., the Highlands Family Success Center and the West Milford Democratic Club will host a presentation by SHIP volunteer Terri Seibert. SHIP, or State Health Insurance Assistance Program, produces and periodically updates data that details the various Medigap, Medicare Advantage and Part D drug plans offered in New Jersey in order to help residents compare plans and make informed choices about which best fit their various needs and budgets.
Ms. Seibert, a SHIP volunteer since 2010, says she loves to help people and is happy to educate NJ residents so they can better utilize the federal programs available to them. She will discuss the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the benefits available through the Federal Exchange.
The event will take place at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1911 Greenwood Lake Turnpike in the Hewitt section of West Milford Township. The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend.
After the presentation, time will be set aside for Q&A.
