WMHS Graduation Scheduled For June 19

As the end of the 2018-2019 School Year quickly approaches, the West Milford Township Public School District released details for the West Milford Township High School Class of 2019 graduation ceremony.

Commencement ceremonies for the WMHS Class of 2019 will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at 6:45 p.m. at the McCormack Field Complex located at 70 Highlander Drive in West Milford.

According to a press release from the school, "Students receive four outdoor tickets (each) and may request more."

In case of inclement weather, the graduation ceremony will take place in the school gym at 6:45 p.m.

Students receive three indoor tickets for the gym, one ticket for the cafeteria, and two tickets for the auditorium, where guests may view the graduation ceremony in real time on a large screen.

Tickets will be distributed to the graduating students on the morning of June 19, during graduation practice.

Immediately following the commencement ceremony on June 19th, there will be a reception for students and their parents on the field.

The Graduates will be presented with empty diploma book jacket covers during the ceremony, and may pick up their official diplomas from their guidance counselors at the reception.

According to the release, the Class of 2019 valedictorian is Rebecca Foody, and the salutatorian is Timothy Magasic.
