Cub and Boy Scouts from Maple Road's Pack and Troop 141 spent the day Saturday firing rockets into the sky at the Wallisch Homestead on Lincoln Avenue.

The scouts built the rockets from kits and, with the help of the leaders, installed the engines and then sent them skyward.

They also recovered the model rockets when they fell back to earth.
