The circus is coming! The circus is coming!
The Kelly Miller Circus, second largest big-top show in the country, will roll into town on Sunday, June 12, in the parking lot of the former A&P store in the Hewitt section of West Milford. Everyone is invited to come out and watch the animals being unloaded and fed, and witness the raising of the giant big top. Activities will begin early circus morning and the tent will be raised at approximately 9 a.m. Guides will be furnished for school groups and anyone attending. The circus is sponsored by the Highlands Economic Development and Tourism Corp. (HEAT).
Two performances are planned, at 2 and 5 p.m.
“Who doesn’t love the circus? Everyone, from little children to their most aged relatives, loves the festive atmosphere, the dramatic performances and the great family entertainment that a circus brings," said Tim Wagner, HEAT chairman. "Beyond that, though, there are opportunities for local businesses to market their goods and services to a wide-eyed public.”
Sponsorships are available, from Big Top sponsor to Grandstand sponsor. For more information on sponsorships, email info@njheat.org.
Advance tickets are $6 for children, and $12 for adults. On the day of the event, tickets are $8 for kids, $16 for adults.

About Kelly Miller Circus
Since 1938, Kelly Miller Circus has traveled throughout the United States and Canada. Members of the troupe arrive, set up, perform, and break down all in one day. Kelly Miller Circus is currently owned by John Ringling North II, great-nephew of the Ringling Brothers. North grew up in the “Greatest Show on Earth” and attends most performances.
The Kelly Miller Circus is proud of their exemplary handling of all the company’s furry performers, which includes vet examinations each month, as well as regular playtime for each animal. Six troupe employees are responsible for constant care of the animals.
