WEST MILFORD — Would you like to become a "fat cat" by helping homeless shelter animals and having an opportunity to win some money?
The West Milford Animal Shelter is having a 50/50 raffle that gives everyone an extra chance to win. The first place winner will win 30 percent of total sales, the second place winner will win 15 percent and the third place winner will win five percent. And 50 percent goes to help support the homeless animals in the community.
Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20. That's five tickets for the price of four.
The drawing will be held on Sunday, Mar 21, 2017. Tickets can be purchased at the shelter or ordered by email. A special email address has been set up for this event - wmassraffle@gmail.com. Include your name, address and the number of tickets you would like to purchase. The tickets will be mailed to you with follow-up details. The cut off date to order by email is May 10.
Buyers must be at least 18 years of age and winners need not be present to win.
The West Milford Animal Shelter is 100 percent volunteer and all funds raised will be used for the care of the homeless animals at the shelter until they find their new "furever" homes and families.
The shelter is located on Lycosky Drive (behind recycling) and is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday evening 7:30 to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
