First Aid Squad holding events in June

    The West Milford First Aid Squad and the West Milford Search & Rescue will be hosting an Open House on Sunday June 9.
    The public is asked to come out and meet the volunteers, have a tour of the ambulances, and see demonstrations.
    The squad will also be taking applications for new volunteers.
    Interested participants can ask questions and sign up for upcoming classes.
    The West Milford First Aid Squad Auxiliary Unit, is hosting a Fish ‘N Chips dinner on Saturday June 29.
    All proceeds will benefit the West Milford Township First Aid Squad Equipment, Supplies, and Training fund.
    Dinners will be served at the West Milford First Aid Squad build at 619 Ridge Road in West Milford.
    Sit down dinners will be served from 6-7:30 p.m.
    A take-out window will be open at 5:30 p.m.
    The cost of the dinner is: adults $15 per dinner, children (under 10 years old) $7.50.
    Dinners include an entrée of fish or chicken, french fries, coleslaw, a cold beverage, coffee and dessert.
    Orders tickets in advance by Friday, June 21 because only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
